DAJOH NOT BOTHERED ABOUT COORDINATED ATTACKS ON HIM BY PAID MERCENARIES 
... reply to his outing on Radio Benue.

The Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly and Vice Chairman, North Central, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Chief. Rt. Hon. Aondona Dajoh   has said he is not bothered about coordinated attacks on his person, coming from paid political mercenaries of failed politicians.

The Speaker wishes to clarify insinuations of this group of persons questioning his appearance on a Tiv Phone-in Radio Program called "Mtem U Hegen"  ( Issues of the moment in Tiv) anchored by renowned radio personality, Ngukpen Diogo.

The Programme "Mtem u hegen" has aired on Radio Benue 95.0 Fm for years and has hosted several dignitaries including Governors of Benue State. The immediate past Governor of the State, Mr. Samuel Ortom was also featured at a point and he spoke in Tiv Language.

Those who listened carefully to this programme would attest to the fact that the anchor specifically requested from the Speaker to insist on sending members representing various Constituencies to appear on the program  to brief their constituents on achievements they have recorded thus far.

Remember that Radio Benue has various programmes in all languages and the general public is featured on those programmes including Assembly Members.

One wonders therefore, the wrong in a Speaker been featured on a program in Tiv to brief his own constituents who are majorly the Tivs about the happenings in Benue and his plans for them in future.

The coordinated attacks from that whatsapp group of paid mercenaries is aimed at casting aspersions on the Speaker haven received overwhelming support from the public for doing an excellent job in coordinating affairs of the House.

The Speaker wishes to call on the public to disregard such antics but keep faith with the 10th Assembly poised at making quality laws as well as keeping the executive arm on their toes for effective service delivery.

He cautioned the agent of underdevelopment to eschew politics of bitterness and wait for political moments as now is the time for governance.
