COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY GBOKO MATRICULATES OVER 300 STUDENTS

The College of Health Technology, Gboko, Benue State today 21st November, 2025 matriculated over 300 students in her 26st matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session. 

The matriculation ceremony took place this morning at the college’s premises, Professor Ransome Kuti Campus, Akaajime, Gboko local Government area of Benue State with a mammoth crowd in attendance.

 Congratulating the newly matriculated students for their successful first step in the program, the Provost of the college, Dr. Mrs Becky Amera said the students have scored a first shot hence according to her, matriculation is a key function in the life of an Institution as it conferred on the matriculants the right and privilege of full-fledged students after the Oath has been administered. Even as he advised them to constantly remain obedient to their sponsors and trainers even after their studies as well as to settle down for serious studies.

Commending the staff of the school for exposing the students from ignorance to academic excellence, Dr Amera said the students have made a right choice as according to her, college of health technology, Gboko is an academyic excellence institution, overall developer, Intellectual, moral, spiritual and physical life.

In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, a lectural with university of Calabar, Dr. Terfa Swem commended the Proprietress and the management for the high academic standard in the college, he encouraged the students take their studies serious.

In his vote of thanks, the college Administrator, Dr. Sam Davis Iormee who appreciated parents and other guests for making the event a success,  commended the good relationship between the school management, students and the host community, assured  the new students of tight security, conducive learning atmosphere.

 Praying against any misfortune against the students, the Administrator  charged them to shun all forms of social vices that would tannish school and thier reputation. 

Earlier, the Registrar of the college, Mrs Chrish Shande who was represented by Mrs Dooshima Sefa expressed gratitude to God for a successful day, she  promised on behalf of the staff and management to put their best in the students.

Speaking for the matriculating students, Miss Faith Kpadoo Daniel who thanked God for seeing them through, promised to keep to the 
School rules to ensure and enhance thier goals.

 The oath of allegiance was administered by the legal Advisor of the college, Barr. Benjamin Bem Nyam, why the residence Pastor of NKST Church, Agyaku, Rev. Pastor PG Azuana administered the students in the hands of God.

The new students were matriculated into the Community Health (CHEW) at ND/HND level, ND in Medical laboratory Tech, National Diploma in Public health Technology, National Diploma in Medical Image Processing and X-ray technician, ND/HND Environmental health Technology and other programs.
