STOP THE SHAMELESS PUBLIC DISGRACE
...... Akura warns Simeon Yongu.

Attention of the Special Adviser on Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Dr Dennis Akura,  has been drawn to the "mischievous and dubious act of the  unfounded rumour about the purpoted suspension of Hon Dr Dennis Akura, and other critical stakeholders of the APC in Vandeikya Local government area by one Mr Simeon Yongu, who's already on indefinite suspension by the leadership APC in Ningev Council ward, Vandeikya Local Government.

Ordinarily, our Principal wouldn't have reacted to charade as it is not in his  nature and character to replying to ill-conceived and satanic verses by enemies of the Benue masses as vituperated by Mr Simeon Yongu, but the doctrine of clarity deems it necessary for the public to be subscribed due to the following facts:

1. That, Mr Simeon Yongu is the actual impersonator. As it stands, he is not the member of APC in Benue State, following his recent suspension from the APC by leadership of the APC,  Ningev Council ward in Vandeikya Local APC Chapter. Mr Yongu's suspension was broadcast on popular and reliable broadcast media Houses in Benue State since December 8th and 9th 2023.

3. It is on record that, Simeon Yongu was suspended for various  acts of  mischief, and gross disrespect to His Excellency,  Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia, sole proprietorship running pattern of APC administration in Vandeikya LG as well as creation of unnecessary faction within the party with the aim to divide the party in the area which is the home of the Governor.

3. It is an exposition of Ignorance, unpatriotism, cum irresponsiveness and laughable for a suspended member of an organisation , stripped of all legal powers  to turn around and attempt to ridicule the most transparent and prominent stakeholders of Kunav politics who have been indefatigably,  supporting His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia,  to execute his golden intensions of massive development across governmental sectors in Benue State.

4. Hon Dr Dennis Akura in particular, was among the few APC stakeholders in Benue State, who has a record of undivided loyalty to the All Progressive Congress. He was victimized by the immediate past administration for vehement refusal to follow the Ortom led administration into the  PDP

5. It is therefore a mis norm and abysmal for Mr Yongu, who ran away from the Social Democractic Party (SDP) under the grounds of 'mischief, gross misconduct and Misappropriation of funds", to question a personality like Hon Akura who's hitting milestones of development in the local government administration through the instrumentality of his workaholic principal, Rev. Fr. Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia.

6. We call on APC party elders, leadership of the APC in Vandeikya, Kunav Youths and peer groups to  rise up and send the parallel evil APC group, led by Mr Simeon Yongu and his perceived sponsors who does not have the interest of Vandeikya Local Government and indeed the entire people of the state at heart,  to shame.

7. We equally, call on the good people of Benue to dismiss and disregard the rumor about the purported suspension of Dr Akura and other Vandeikya APC Chieftains. It is glaring that  this is targeted towards distracting the administration of our precious Governor cum leader, Rev. Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia on delivering the trinity of engagement he entered into with the Benue people.

9.  We the media team of Dr Akura, headed by Mr Eric Iortyer,  wish to assure rural dwellers and the masses in Benue State that, Hon Dr Dennis Akura,  is very focused on delivering his mandate of "local government workable administrative framework" given to him by his Principal, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia.

10. To our elder brother, Mr Simeon Yongu, we urge you to retract your illegal pronouncement along with your cohorts and immediately tender an unreserved apology to Hon Dr Dennis Akura, and all the other party Chieftains and stakeholders whose name were mentioned.

11. It is imperative to remind Mr Simeon Yongu that it is the grain one plants that he or she reaps at the harvest time.

CHIEF OYEGUN OFFICIALLY JOINS ADC 16th July, 2025 A former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Oyegun, a former Edo State Governor, received the membership card of his new party on Tuesday.
