KWANDE APC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SUSPENDS PROF. JOSEPH ALAKALI, HON. TERNGU SHAWON AND OTHERS INDEFINITELY.

KWANDE APC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SUSPENDS PROF. JOSEPH ALAKALI, HON. TERNGU SHAWON AND OTHERS INDEFINITELY.

The Kwande Local government executive committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the indefinite suspension of the following members as received from the executive committee of their various council wards as follows: 

TOWNSHIP COUNCIL WARD

Hon. Terngu Shawon, 
Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Political Relations 

YAAV COUNCIL WARD
1. Prof. Joseph Alakali.
Secretary to the Benue State Government (SSG)

2. Hon. DooƓron Agogo

MBADURA COUNCIL WARD

Hon. Anumve Geoffrey 

The suspension followed their inability to appear before the Disciplinary and Fact Finding  Committee for indulging in illegal activities such as creating of parallel party organs/factions, regulation of party decisions, engaging in dishonest practices and non payment of party dues. 

This is in line with the provisions of Article 21.2 of the APC constitution 2022 as amended.

The Local Government Executive Committee further suspend the Vice Chairman, Hon. Terver Mase for impersonating the office of the party Chairman, Hon. Terdoo Kenti. 

Also suspended indefinitely is Hon. Gboko Shawon, APC Chairman Usar council ward for creating parallel party organs/factions.

Their suspension will be forwarded to the Zonal Party Chairman (Zone A), Hon. Barr. Vincent Uji, from there it will move to the State Working Committee in line with the guidelines and operations of the party. 

Finally, the APC local government executive committee maintained their position that the Caretaker Chairman of Kwande local government, Rev. Mark Hule is not a registered member of the party therefore, warned him to stop parading himself as a member of the party.
