* MIKE AONDOAKAA: Fighting Sen. George Akume is fighting God, those that fought Akume will remain on the streets because, Akume's leadership is ordained by God, with Jemgbagh blood, iam too wise to work against God's ordained leader like Akume, despite their pressure on me to betray or fight Akume but I stood my ground and resist it, Iam educated and too wise to fight God.

*SEN. JACK GYADO: Yandev Amaa Bai has taken right decision, he will never regret for joining Akume. Akume has done a great thing for Jerchira by giving us Governor,We the Jerchira people can't betray Akume, will promised him and will are still with him, any Jerchira person that fight Akume will be on his own. I have taken over Tarka's leadership and I will not abandon Akume.

SEN. TITUS ZAM:  Nobody will fight Akume and go unpunished, you can see that, those that fight Akume are on the streets in Benue, if not our leader, Sen. Akume I wouldn't have been wearing agbeda at senate. Minda are for Akume yesterday, today and tomorrow. Yes they are pretending that there is no problem but God is watching and people are seeing. Our leader, Sen. Akume single handedly build this party, we will never allow anybody to destroy the party, we the APC national assembly caucus are for Akume and will stand by him. For those that did not honour this occasion without a genuine reason, they are dead in their heads.

* SPEAKER. HYACINTH DAJOH: For Yandev Amaa Bai to defect from PDP to join our Father Sen. George Akume, it's a display of a real Tiv man with Jemgbagh blood, Akume is our own we must give him the desired support. If we the stakeholders resolve to give our father our support, Jemgbagh will be great and by extension, Tiv nation and Benue will be great.

* SGF AKUME: Yandev Amaa Bai and myself have a very closed relationship for long, his father was very closed to me hence his maternal home from Mbakor, he has taken a right decision to follow the right path today, he will never regret, anyway iam assuring him and all the decampees a maximum cooperation, in our party, there is no new comer nor late comer. I have sacrificed for this party right from the foundation, thanks to president Tinubu for rewarding Benue by giving me SGF. 
I did not look for the SGF, President knew that I deserve it and he called me and rewarded me with it, despite some people campaign for it, assassinated my characters but where are they now, it's God. 
Benue people should applaud President Tinubu, he has done enough for our state, apart from the juicy appointments, he has approved many roads contracts in Benue State including double lane construction of Buruku bridge.
AUSTIN AGADA: Akume is our hero, he is our leader, it will be taboo for Benue man especially a Tiv man to disrespect our leader Akum. We in Idoma have adopted Akume as our leader and son, we stood by David Mark, honoured him despite we didn't benefit anything from him (Mark).

CHIEF OYEGUN OFFICIALLY JOINS ADC 16th July, 2025 A former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Oyegun, a former Edo State Governor, received the membership card of his new party on Tuesday. His membership card was handed to him by the party’s state chairman, Kennedy Odion, after he registered with the ADC in Benin city, the Edo State capital.
