FEDERAL APPOINTMENTS: HEAR AKUME AND DAVID MARK - from my archives

TIV SOLD THEIR PRIDE AND BROTHERS FOR A BOTTLE OF BEER - DAVID MARK
Former Senate President, senator David Mark has advised his Tiv brothers to stop selling their cause and brothers for a bottle of beer and crying of the marginalization at federal level.
Senator Mark gave the advice at Kornya during the 2014 birthday celebration of Senator Barnabas Gemade advised the Tiv people to count him (Mark) out of the blame over the imbalanced recruitment and appointments at federal level. Adding that, Tiv people should start looking at him as a Benue son but not as Idoma man as well as advised that "I want beg my Tiv brothers to stop selling their brothers when somebody buy a bottle of beer for them but have a rethink and start looking at their brothers at the top as leaders or else nothing good will come their way. If you hear Gemade said something against Akume or Akume said something against David Mark or Suswam please keep it with you, you must not report it to find favour".

FEDERAL APPOINTMENT NOT AKUME OR GEMADE'S BLAME - AKUME
In his reaction, Senator George Akume said that "what the Tive people are complaining that we the representatives are not influencing federal jobs for Tivs is true but you all know that, it is PDP government that hates Tiv people, the government does not care about we the Tivs, we have no jobs in the PDP government despite our population.
Don't blame Gemade and don't blame George Akume because we are trying in our own little way but the PDP government hates Tiv so much that it will not listen to us.
We have a governor today and remember I was once a governor of this state too. During my time we used to influence things from the federal government for Tivs but our governor of today can't fight and influence anything for Tivs".
Hmmmmmm HOW TIME FLIES.
