FEAR IN BENUE AS ANOTHER BSLG COMMANDER SHOT DEAD

There is serious tension in Ukum Benue State following the assassination of another Commander of Benue State Livestock Guard in Ukum local government area of Benue last night.

World Link gathered that the the BSLG commander of Mbatian ward in Ukum LG, Jarule Likita died after he was shot severally in the chest by yet to be identified gunmen, at about 8:20 pm yesterday Sunday, 20th August, 2023, at Tine-Nune settlement, Ukum local government area of Benue State.

A source from Ukum told our correspondent that, " the assassination of Commander Likita mark the fifth BSLG Commanders that have been assassinated by unknown gun men in Ukum local government in a recent time, There is something on going which they know between them and the criminals". He stated.

CHIEF OYEGUN OFFICIALLY JOINS ADC 16th July, 2025 A former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Oyegun, a former Edo State Governor, received the membership card of his new party on Tuesday. His membership card was handed to him by the party’s state chairman, Kennedy Odion, after he registered with the ADC in Benin city, the Edo State capital.
