Speaker Benue State House of Assembly and the Vice Chairman, North Central Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures Rt. Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh has called on his followers to use their closeness to him to promote peace, unity and only for good purpose.

The Speaker who made the call today, 9th June, 2024 at NKST Church, Gboko Central, Gboko local Government area of Benue State at a thanksgiving Service organized in his honour by a Pressure group called Jemgbagh Youth warned his supporters and associates never to use his name to settle scores with their enemies but use it to woe more supporters to him hence he is committed to touch more lives positively.

 The thanksgiving was also combined with 50 millions naira appeal fund for completion one the Church projects.

Speaking further, Hon. Dajoh who was represented by his Wife, Chief Mrs. Cynthia Kundumiyol Dajoh thanked God for his life and for what he has done for him, stressing that, it worth giving thanks to God at any given opportunity in live, not until you become a speaker like him before you appreciate God, as well as admonished Christians and politicians to learn to be perseverance and committed to God in all they do. He commended the organizers of the event for their steadfastness, support and foresight.

Earlier, the President of Jemgbagh Youths, Dr. Akor Andiir said, they have every reason to thank God for the speaker, according to him, the rough path of the journey in life of Speaker miraculously changed from one of pioneer founders of the Jemgbagh Youths, engagement with operations ZENDA to his present political pinnacle level in the country has been God's grace all through.

 Dr. Andiir who called for unity among Tiv political leaders, expressed hope that, if leaders are united, SGF, George Akume will be celebrated as President of this country, even as he advised stakeholders to allow Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia to continue with his good works for Benue.

Others who spoke at the event were, SGF, Senator George Akume, member representing Gboko East state constituency, Rt Hon Becky Orpin who were represented by former Chairman of Gboko Local Government council, Hon. Simon Abua Yajir, Chief Launcher, Chairman Nigerian union of teachers, Comrade Levi Akuma, Chairman of the occasion, Arch. David Uma, Chair Lady of  the association, Mrs Member Company Iornongo as well as Chairman Gboko local Government council, Hon. Avar Verlumun, Ter Gboko, Chief Gabriel Shosun through Mue Ter Gboko East, HRH, Ikpa Abua, APC Chairman Gboko local Government, Hon. Terfa Iorgilim, CPC Chairman, Mr. David Ayua among others all called on other public office holders to emulate Speaker's leadership style of always remembering God.

Earlier in his address, after reading from Bible, the Guest Preacher, Rev. Solomon Orjime while recalling some of the reasons  to thank God and God doesn't elevate people not by their size, background nor by their wisdom, referring to the case of Speaker's elevation to the position of Vice chairman of speakers in the country.

Accompanied wife of the Speaker at the thanksgiving were APC local Government and ward Exco members, APC Chieftains in Gboko, Hon. Smith Takema,  Hon. Iju Justin, Hon. Jake's Agber among many others.

SGF Akume, Speaker Dajoh, Sen. Gemade's representative and other Guests donated millions of naira for the church project.

The wife of the Speaker later interfaced with Gboko traditional rulers, Youths, organizers and other supporters of the speakers at various venues in Gboko after the thanksgiving.
