NAGS PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO GBOKO LG ACTING CHAIRMAN 

The representatives of the National Association of Gboko Students (NAGS) have today 7th September, 2023 paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Chairman/DGSA of Gboko Local Government Council at his Office, Gboko Local Government area of Benue State.

Welcoming the delegation to his office, the acting Chairman of the Council, Prince Torngu Jiji Aluor expressed his delight at the visit and reiterated the willingness of his team to work with NAGS hence according to him, child education is the only key to reduce criminal elements in the society. He further advised them to make their parents and the community proud by bending down the study and the achieve the aim they sent in schools, as well as the shurn any act that is capable of tarnish their images and that of the community.

“You are very important in the society and I urge you to carry on this way. Exhibit decency in everything you do up there in your various schools and outside, because in life, you will either be remembered for the problem you caused or the problem you solved. We as a local government council will support you and guide you in your endeavours”. He advised.

The Acting Chairman also asked the body to put all their requests formally to his office for necessary actions.

Earlier, the delegation led by the national President, Comrade Kwarkar Emmanuel highlighted some of the challenges students are facing around, appealing for synergy between the Association and the Council for the welfare of Gboko students.

He informed the Acting Chairman of their planned national day celebration, permanent secretariat and scholarship challenges which appealed for an assistance from the local government.
