FEDERAL LEVEL

We would like to clarify and strongly emphasize that the former governor, Gabriel Suswam, has had no involvement whatsoever in the publication that recently surfaced regarding the political appointments within the state and at the federal level. 

Sen. Gabriel Suswam would like to reiterate that, as a former governor and dedicated statesman, he holds the right to express his views on matters that have an impact on his constituents. However, it is imperative to note that he was not part of the group responsible for authoring the release in question.

Furthermore, we wish to categorically state that Sen. Gabriel Suswam did not grant authorization to any individual or group to represent his views on the recent political appointments. Any claims made on his behalf regarding this matter are unequivocally false and without his consent.

As Sen. Gabriel Suswam remains committed to the well-being of the state and its people, he urges the public to rely solely on statements issued directly from his official channels for accurate representation of his stance on various issues.

CHIEF OYEGUN OFFICIALLY JOINS ADC 16th July, 2025 A former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Oyegun, a former Edo State Governor, received the membership card of his new party on Tuesday. His membership card was handed to him by the party’s state chairman, Kennedy Odion, after he registered with the ADC in Benin city, the Edo State capital.
