MAKURDI/GUMA: DICKSON LOST AT APPELLATE COURT

MAKURDI/GUMA: DICKSON LOST AT APPELLATE COURT

The current occupant of Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency, Hon Dominic Adaga Dickson Tarkighir (as contained in his credentials) lost an interlocutory appeal, at the appellate court, to Hon Benjamin Mzondu.

Recall that Hon Mzondu Benjamin Bem had approached the House of Representatives and State Assemblies Petition Tribunal challenging the outcome of the Victory of the former on the ground of certificate forgery.

Hon Mzondu is seeking the disqualification and nullification of Hon Dominic Adaga for an alleged certificate forgery.

However, after both parties to the matter had opened and closed their defence and submitted written addresses for final judgement, Dickson's lawyers acting on the directives of their client rushed to appeal court claiming they were denied a fair hearing asking  Appeal court to compel Tribunal court to open defence for him to call more witnesses.

However, today, the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja did not only dismissed his interlocutory appeal on account of lack of merit but he was also slammed a court fine.
